DALNET Board Approves Updated Mission

As recommended by the Strategic Planning Task Force (SPTF), the DALNET Board recently approved the following updated mission for the consortium:

"DALNET is a community of libraries working together to provide access to information for research, cultural enrichment, and lifelong learning opportunities."

On November 10th, Steven Bowers, Kristy Wells, and Cathy Wolford presented "Channel Yourself:  Using YouTube Playlists to Create Online Collections" to an enthusiastic crowd at the Michigan Library Association Annual Conference in Traverse City.  A handout of the presentation is available online.
