Upcoming DALNET Training Sessions
DALNET Educational Forum
Friday, March 26, 2:30-4
In celebration of DALNET's 25th Anniversary we will be hosting four educational forums in 2010. Each forum will be open for free to the public and will
cover a topic of interest to libraries and library workers.
For our first forum, Wayne State University librarian Joshua Neds-Fox will present
and discuss Google, Inc. For his presentation, titled Google May Be Trying To Take Over The World,
Joshua will look at a few of Google's recent and upcoming projects, including Chrome and Wave, and discuss their import for the web
and for the world at large.
Joshua Neds-Fox is the Web Team Leader for the Wayne State University Libraries. He is responsible for the most recent iteration of the Library
website, among other initiatives. Joshua has spent most of his career designing, developing and managing public and academic library websites.
He received his BFA in Theater from Wayne State University (1996) and his MLIS from Kent State University (2003).
Event to be held at Wayne State University in the Purdy/Kresge Library, Auditorium.
This free event is open to the general public.
