Pro-Literacy Detroit

DALNET was excited to host our recent Educational Forum featuring guest speaker Margaret Williamson, Executive Director of Pro-Literacy Detroit. Attendees heard more information about literacy issues in the Detroit area and how individuals and institutions can get involved with Pro-Literacy Detroit, including volunteering as a tutor or offering library locations to be used as tutoring facilities.  For more information check out the PLD website at: proliteracydetroit.org.  Or contact PLD if you are ready to volunteer at 313-872-7720 or info@proliteracydetroit.org.
