System Work Groups Ready to Roll
Thanks
to DALNET members for your willingness to participate in the system
work groups in 2014. The office has assigned members to work
groups based on the survey. Assignments are available on the member
website [login required].

New DALNET
FootPrints Help Desk is Here
This month DALNET Members will transition to the new DALNET
FootPrints Help Desk. The help desk software is now hosted on
a
new virtual machine run by the WSU libraries. The new system
uses a brand new version of the familiar FootPrints software.
Old
cases were migrated from the previous system, system options have been
streamlined to better fit DALNET operational needs, and new features
will enable better use of the system for supporting member help desk
needs. DALNET Project Managers will have a refresher training
for
using the new system at their meeting this month on the 10th.
Thanks to the WSU libraries for getting the system up and running for
DALNET!
Congratulations
to Karen Tubolino
Congratulations
to Karen Tubolino on her retirement from the John D. Dingell VA Medical
Center. Karen worked at the VA for 20 years. DALNET
was
pleased to present Karen with a certificate of recognition for her
numerous years of service on the DALNET Board of Directors, Executive
Committee, and task forces. Karen plans to enjoy retirement
with
her husband, and the couple has a two month trip planned this winter
for driving cross country and vacationing in San Diego.
Everyone
wishes her well and we will miss her a lot!
Board Welcomes
New Appointee
Welcome to Mary Jo Durivage, new member of
the DALNET Board of Directors. Mary Jo is the new Board member
representing the John D. Dingell VA Medical
Center. She will also continue her role as DALNET Project Manager for
the VA.
COSUGI 2014 Early Bird Registration
The
2014 Customers of SirsiDynix Users Group, Inc. (COSUGI) Conference is
going to be in Detroit at the Renaissance Center on May 15-17, 2014.
