Horizon and Virtual Server Project Updates On July 3, 2013, the DALNET Horizon Production environment will move from a physical server to a virtual machine environment.  Horizon and HIP will be down beginning 10:00 AM on July 3rd and will be available by 8:30 AM on the morning of July 5th.  Enterprise will be available for public searching during that time. Please notify staff regarding this work and make appropriate preparations. If you have any questions regarding this project, please contact the DALNET office. On July 26, 2013, Horizon Service Pack 1 for Horizon 7.5.2 is scheduled for installation.  More information will be distributed to Project Managers for this push upgrade. This month, the DALNET office is working to complete installation of its new ERM services.  Work on this project was postponed as the installation was moved to a virtual server.  It is anticipated that members will be able to preview the system in August. Access to DALNET Offices Changing Wayne State University's Science and Engineering Library, where the DALNET offices are located, is becoming a closed access building beginning August 1, 2013.  The DALNET office will continue to be located on the 6th floor.  Visitors to the office will be admitted by staff via secured entry.
