Wolford Commences MLA Presidency
and Virtual Server Project Updates

Cathy Wolford, DALNET Systems Librarian, began her one-year
term as Michigan Library Association President. The DALNET
Board congratulates her on this honor and is pleased with her service
to DALNET and the Michigan library community.
3, 2013, the DALNET Horizon Production environment will move from a
server to a virtual machine environment. Horizon and HIP will
down beginning 10:00 AM on July 3rd and will be available by
8:30 AM on the morning of July 5th. Enterprise will be
available for public searching during that time. Please

This month, the DALNET office is working to complete installation of
its new ERM
services. Work on this project was postponed as the
installation was moved to a virtual server. It is anticipated
that members will be able to preview the system in August.
Access to DALNET
Wayne State University's Science and Engineering Library, where the
DALNET offices are located, is becoming a closed access building
