Welcome to Jing Jing Wu
Jing Jing Wu has
joined the DALNET office as a WSU School of Library and Information
Science practicum student. Jing Jing holds management, library
science,
and engineering degrees from China and is completing her MLIS at WSU
this summer. She is already hard at work on special projects and has
made several enhancements in member services.
DALNET Board Training Retreat
This Month
The DALNET Board will have a training retreat for their meeting this
month. The retreat will be held at WSU on Monday, June 18, 2012,
from Noon-4:30 pm. Please note the extended time for the
meeting. Lunch will be provided from Noon until 1 pm.
Hartzell-Mika Consulting, LLC, has been contracted to provide the Board
training for the afternoon. The consultants will help define the
roles of the Board and the Executive Director of DALNET.
All Board members should make this meeting a priority on their
schedules and are asked to complete the pre-meeting survey that was
sent to the DALNET Board mailing list by June 6.
Google Analytics Upgrade
All DALNET catalogs in the shared system are now using the new Google
Analytics tracking code. Updates to Google Analytics were
required for continued use of the free service. The upgraded
system has new reporting features and custom reports have been
scheduled to go out to each DALNET project manager on the first of each
month. If your institution would like additional
individuals
to receive the reports or if you have Google accounts that you would
like assigned to your institution's DALNET Analytics profile, please
send the information to dalnet@wayne.edu.

Library's can select specific DALNET
eLibrary collections as limits in their catalog. Take a look
at the DALNET
Union Catalog for ideas and let us know if you would like any
collection limits added to your catalog.
