DALNET Planning Team
[April 5, 2002]
The DALNET Planning team has held conference call meetings since early
January to help identify and outline some of the questions DALNET needs to
consider as we move forward. Planning Team members Jerry Bosler, Leo Papa,
David Murphy (resigned recently), Pat Orr, and Ann Walaskay, along with
DALNET staff Michael Piper and Scott P. Muir reviewed some of the key
questions that came out of last year's retreat and began to address each of these
points.
The first task the planning team addressed was DALNET's Vision, Mission, and
Values. The team began with draft statements and worked with different
wordings over a period of weeks. We obtained feedback from the DALNET
Board and members and created a working vision, mission and values
statements that the Board of Directors approved at their February 2002 meeting.
