DALNET To Participate in Michigan Library Association Annual Conference
[Fall 2006]
The Detroit Area Library Network will be participating in several events at the 2006 Michigan Library Association Annual Conference, on October 11-13, at the Detroit Renaissance Center.
Each year at its annual conference the MLA hosts a silent auction. Donations this year for the auction include baskets representing donating institutions. DALNET will be donating a basket of over $150 worth of new books, DVD's, and CD's made in or about Detroit. Don't miss your chance to bid on these items. Proceeds go to a good cause!

Among the events, the All Conference Reception will be hosted by two DALNET member institutions, the Detroit Public Library and the Wayne State University Library System, at the newly renovated Rose and Robert Skillman Branch Library.
Staff members from DALNET libraries will be presenting a panel discussion "Creating Positive Customer Service Experiences in a Challenging Environment
." This program will be on Thursday, October 12, 2-3:15 p.m. Participating individuals include Steven K. Bowers of DALNET, Stacy K.
